Plight of Muslims in India

I am here today not to write anything against Muslim community or any other community and I believe I don’t have any right to. I want to express my bitter feelings about the thinking of youth of our country

"Muslim is just like any another religion...................." This is what most of the people in India like to showcase but is it true to their heart? Well I don’t think so....

Continous assault by terrorists in India have affected the life of Muslim badly, especially the ferocious Mumbai attack just a few days back. Serious investigations by Indian government have revealed that those attackers are from Pakistan and this activity has been promoted from there only. A month has passed when this horrendous act happened and it has touched the hearts of all the people of our nation. But who are the most scared after this attack?

Hindus, Sikhs or Christians? No but the Muslims living in India, those innocent ones, who consider India as their mother land. I agree that Mumbai terror attack was laid by Muslims who came from Pakistan (acc to Govt. of India) but don't understand why our Muslim citizens are suffering because of the deeds of those Pakistani terrorists.

Muslims are already a minority in India, and Terrorism is doing more damage to India and Indian Muslims in particular. Whenever there is any war like situations with Pakistan due to terrorism, a parallel situation emerges inside India, between Hindus and Muslims. I don’t understand why?

I read about an incidence from somewhere recently which clearly indicates the plight of Muslims in our country. It says
"On December 1, a Class 9 Muslim student who wears a headscarf walked in late to class in a prominent central Delhi convent school. "You Pakistani," said the teacher.
"Excuse me, Ma'am, I am not a Pakistani," the stunned student replied.
The 14-year-old student, requesting anonymity, said she complained to the principal, who was sympathetic. "I was told the teacher would be spoken to," the student said.

Initially I thought it was only the older generation who considers Muslims and terrorist (from Pakistan) the same and the one who is responsible for all atrocities in our country. But what offended me is that even our younger generation; the Youth of our country considers the same. And I don’t have to go far to find an example.

Is it the urban India where open prejudices against Muslims are growing? Perhaps that's why Indian Muslims are more worried.
On this I want answer to just one question. Why Muslims are considered as refugee in their own Country, India?

Right to fair trial?

Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman or Azam Amir Kasav,In the past one month this man has got more space in media than the new president of U.S. Who is he?what he did? and why is media creating so much of hype about it?

Nobody knows his real identity but he has given many names each from different sources. What we know is that he is the only one captured alive during Mumbai Terror Attack, which shocked India...

Hell lot of argumentation is going on these days whether he deserves Fair Trial or not. Indian public including our politicians which understandably, is in Bad mood, full of anger and sentimental with what happened in that massacre .So they are demanding for Capital punishment for him and don’t even want him to be entitled a lawyer. They even can’t stand the lawyer who is thinking to fight his case.

Though their behaviour is apprehensible and expected but we should not forget that we have democracy here in our country. But this incidence clearly shows how much people of India respects democracy. The constitution of our country has been framed to protect fundamental rights of any individual. Though initially Right to Fair Trial was not mentioned in fundamental rights of our constitution but in the 42 Amendment it has been added as one. Article 22 declares that no accused shall be denied the right to consult and be defended by a legal practitioner of choice.
So by denying this man right to frail trial aren't we moving away from democracy. It is well said that "The measure of a civilization is the way its society treats those it hates"

Media has created hype about what is going to happen but i have one concern what if India gives "Kasav" a chance of Fair Trial? It is well known that no lawyer can do much for a person responsible for mass killing and open display of the terror. The only option available is either capital punishment or life imprisonment.

Looking at the conditions of our Prisons(Jail), One set of thoughts want him to be given life imprisonment because only then he will realize the severity of crime he have commited. In there he will die each day and will pray to god for easy and sudden death.

And then there is another thought which originates from our bad experiences, that if he will be kept in jail, someday terrorist will hijack some god damn plane and force us to set him free, which we definitely don't want.
So if we are going to give him capital punishment by any chance then what is the use of all this drama? This is a big dilemma which i am not able to figure out yet...........

Critical Resource :-)

Today I am here to cite an unusual and somewhat humorous incident that happened with me. I guess most of my friends know that I got my Left hand “fractured” few months back and doctor suggested me rest for few days. So I took leave for about 6 weeks……

Finally, when I got bored staying at home for so long, I decided to resume office. Initially I felt that something fishy is going on in office on my back. As global economy was already going under recession, so was IT industry and news of Layoffs started coming up from different MNC .At this, I thought that one day it is going to happen with me also. Due to my so called attendance record, I would be the first one to be laid off from my team if my company decides to do so.

And in the mean time, there comes news that in my own firm, employees are asked to take forced earned leaves (trick used especially to improve the balance sheet of Company) .Now I start seeing stars in the daylight. To save my neck, I start to show some involvement in my work, to behave sincere and responsible. Oh my God!!! But it took only 2 weeks to got to know that it is too hard to be regular at work.. I felt that I m working like ass for centuries……………….

Soon after, on one good day, my manager called me up to his room. I was feeling that something bad is about to come. I cowered, hesitated but left with no choice but to face it. At last I gather up all my courage and went to his seat. Then we had some serious talk and when i came out of his room, me face is filled with a big smile, the smile of Victory.

Guess what? Showing sheer confidence in my capabilities, he said “Dude, you are one of the critical resources of our Team so I can’t let you go, hence this forced leaves concept is not applied to you……………..”

My face still glow up when I remember the words he utters. And now again I am planning for some unplanned leaves……………………………………………………..

THE LAGOON VS THE OCEAN

This story is from internet but i like it so have posted.......

One might have heared about the Great Barrier Reef, stretching some 1,800 miles from New Guinea to Australia. Tour guides regularly take visitors to view the reef.

On one tour, a traveler asked the guide an interesting question."I noticed that the lagoon side of the reef looks pale and lifeless, while the ocean side is vibrant and colorful," the traveler observed. "Why is this?"

The guide gave an interesting answer:"The coral around the lagoon side is in still water with no challenge for its survival. It dies early. The coral on the ocean side is constantly being tested by wind, waves, and storms -- surges of power. It has to fight for survival every day of its life.As it is challenged and tested, it changes and adapts. It grows healthy. It grows strong. And it reproduces."

Then he added this telling note: "That's the way it is with every living organism."!!

REFLECTION

That's how it is with people. Challenged and tested, we come alive! Like coral pounded by the sea, we grow. Physical demands can cause us to grow stronger. Mental and emotional stress can produce tough-mindedness and resiliency.Spiritual testing can produce strength of character and faithfulness .So, when you are tested again and again with problems - physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, just tell yourself, "There I grow again!".

Remember, A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner!!
Coming soon......

Either you die a hero....or u live long enough to see yourself turn into a Villain...

The above dialogue may be of more significance to those who have seen the movie “Dark Night" but it carries some meaning for others also. What Batman wants to convey is "Either He will Die fighting for LAW or one day he will break the Law himself to maintain law and become a criminal”. Think of how batman will look in a Villainous role? With his so much power no one will be able to stop him..........

It is truly said that movie dialogues depicts real life situations well. Let see how this particular one goes with it.
Take the case of Rahul Dravid (our former Captain). There was a time when public respects him as one of the Top batsman of India. But now he is considered as a burden on Team India. He should have retired at the right time gracefully. But he didn't and now he is facing severe criticism. So he was a Hero and now converted in Villain.

And what about our Dear "politicians"? I believe they are the ones to whom this dialogue befits the best. Though they have never been Heroes in my eyes. But people elect them in hope of their country being run well, and what politician do? They keep on sticking to their chair, like they are glued to it, until the condition goes worst. When things went out of control they just resign, which are of no use anymore. They could have been Heroic if they quit at right time and handed it over to a right person but they haven’t and now they have become Villains in the eyes of public.

At last I would like to say …..as about cricket we say "It is all about right timing”. It is same for the life as well.....................................

Terrorizing the Spirit of Nation

Be it in Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi or in Mumbai. I don’t know when this terror is going to stop. The sorry state of affairs in the country is taking its toll, not only in the form of thousands of lives which we are losing every year but also in the form of fear which is creeping deep inside us. And to top all, it has exposed the shameless greed of various stakeholders of our nation.

Our country has become a pimples brothel where anyone can walk in at any time, spurt some shots and then walk away as per their wish.

The home minister, to fight back the serious allegation about his incapability in handling the home affairs, announces in the public before the national media about the minute details of the program of dispatch of NSG team from Delhi which is aired live by our breaking news obsessed media so that the terrorists holed up in Mumbai may get the information to plan their move. The channels beaming live telecast of commandos being air dropped, which is being seen by the terrorists in the Nariman House.

I am sure they must have laughed loudly on our country and the way it is functioning. For politicians it is more important to prove (that too falsely) that they are not cleaning the Italian toilets in Janpath, even if it means putting the lives of few more commandos at stake. For news channels it is more important to give the ‘first news’ or ‘breaking news’ or blah blah news even if it means there would be no one left to hear those shit.

What more? After ‘performing’ their duties, our journos and politicians will dig out 3-4 words like resilience, tenacity, spirit from dictionary and then they will be overused till a new terror attack occurs, a new place is destroyed, few more men have died and a new ‘spirit’ comes to limelight. They don’t know that we don’t have any spirit left. it is just we have to choose between certainty and probability, livelihood and bomb blasts which is not a choice at all and that is why we are forced to display this spirit.

For sure we are heading in a dark tunnel that too at high speed, just hope that there is no dead end in it.

Sometimes i feel alone....

Once i was lying on bed like any other day trying to sleep,a thought disturbed me,"why do i feel alone sometimes?". I tried hard to squander it but failed miserably.More i tried to get out of it more it attracts me.

After a deep thought,I worked out that I have everything, family,
best pals with whom i share my feelings and who are always there for me ,Even then sometimes i feel like i m alone.

Life is an interesting game as i see it. Person grow up in due course, make many friends but there are moments when he/she feels loneliness. Its like you are in ocean with enormous amount of water and you are thirsty. Even though you have many friends but no one really understand you.On that thought,my conscious mind raises its eyebrow like asking me is it true?.........................Am i Really alone?.....But Why......................................??????

Is it that I don't have any choice
or
Is it that I like to be alone!!!!!!!!!

Answer to this question will be of great help to satisfy our mind which up to now is just thinking about the effect but not the cause of it.
What I feel the reason for this dilemma can be that we, as person, like to be alone sometimes. We all want some time to reflect to our past which is not done by sharing with anybody. Now if we ourselves want to be alone why do we feel helpless at those moments.Though this is very subjective to say but when we reflect to our past,we do most of the time for dreadful moment(like heartbreaks, failure s etc....).
And at that time we search for someone to share but even if we have someone,we have nothing to
.Fear of those displeasing moments is eating us from within and we just want it to go away..And we feel ourselves in predicament, confused, with no light of hope. What trouble us more is not those displeasing moments but thinking about that. There is no end to this mental conflict until we realize that it is normal to be alone and there is nothing to worry about that. This change in our preconceived notion is crucial if we want to transform those horrifying moments into pleasurable ones. Then one day you will recognize that you have wasted a valuable part of your life worrying unnecessarily.

Are we Losing our Identity?

God created everyone's life different, with some unique purpose in His mind.He blessed us with free thoughts and strong will power to fulfill the unparalled aim of one's life. But we as human, are taught from the very beginning ,the key attributes of ideal person and are expected to become the same. But this sounds inane to me. What if we all act exactly the same way?How would this world look like?It will eliminate the difference between different personalities .Although there will be no sorrows,no crimes,no corruption and no disputes; everything looks perfect at first sight but it is not ,because joy can't exist without sorrow as shadow can't without light.
But this is what i think and i know there are many who strongly oppose me.And i appreciate it as critics make the reasoning more sound. Now going back to the topic.Let us do a small exercise. You have to answer all the 5 questions in just 30 seconds and don't cheat(Cheating is another interesting area to explore but we will talk abt it later :-)).If u want,u can take a paper and pencil as we will analyse your response shortly after the test.

Q1.What you wanted to become when you were in matric(10th)?
Q2.What your parents wanted you to become when you were in matric(10th)?
Q3.Which are the five most common career options chosen by people around you?
Q4.What you feel is different in you from others(some hobby, area of interest or anything...)?Can you make any career out of it?If yes, what would it be?
Q5.What you finally opted as your career?

Now Observe your answers and if answer of 2nd Question doesnt match with 1st or 3rd and you are making your career out of your choice then you are among the few who actually have their identity intact.Congrats to them.Exceptions are always there :-)But don't be afraid if you are unhappy with the outcome.I am also one of those unhappy ones.I think this is the Red Alert for all of us to change the way we handle our life. But how can we do it?Obviously by realizing the Goal of our life(Mind it,I am talking about goal of life and not the career goal). Make the thing you like to do the most as your goal.
Now there may be many questions arising in your mind related to money, reputaion which affects one's decision abt career option and how can one go for his/her area of interest or hobby if they are not that promising. What i would like to say is "Go and make as much money as you can".No one is stopping you from doing that. But you will never be satisfied with it.The more you have it ,more greedy you will become. To check whether you are satisfied with what you have earned or what you have done till date, spend some time with youself, some good 4- 5 hrs... And then you will realise you have become a clone to the guy sitting next to you and same for him also.Today,we,humans, don't need any artificial robots as we ourselves have become robots.Once you realise this, thats the time for you to look at the options, which makes you feel good and satisfied at professional as well as personal front and grab one.
Friends, things will not change overnight.Always remember the golden rule, the earlier you start the better it is.

Loveship- a new relation for new generation

Friends are a bunch of people roaming together, making fun and enjoying their life to fullest. Most of us have been through this time in our high school or college days. This relation, unique in its existence, matters a lot in everyone's life.No formalities, no tension. Gigling, pulling each others leg, drinking in same glass, eating each others share and a lot more. This is the best part of our life and that's why always remembered and cherished.

But new generation is living a different relationship. Visit any college and you will observe, people now like to be in pairs instead of groups.Their mentality has changed. This is not only happening in metro cities but in the small cities too. You will not take much time to deduce that most of the pairs are hetrosexual. They stroll around holding each other's hand (like they are one soul). They behave like lovers, looking into each others eyes, giving expensive gifts and eating every new cuisine. But this is not LOVE rather I would say, it's Loveship(This term is not coined by me) since there is no commitment from either side and they remain with each other as long as they don't find anyone better.Every month they change their partners and start again with a new beginning, again singing a love song from some new romantic film, making fake promises which they both know in advance but just ignore to realise. And the life goes on...

Well I am not against any such relationship rather concerned about the coming generation as it is going to make them mature before time with all worries of such relations. Loveship or friendship, which is better? I am not the one to answer this question .This is what one has to ask to himself and choose accordingly.

Do You Hate Match Fixing ?

With the increasing craze of various sports among youth ,no one is unaware of match fixing.Fixing is done in each and every sport, from Cricket in India to Sumo Wrestling in Japan. The sport lovers not only hate the player who got caught in fixing but also make his/her family's life miserable. But how many of those who blame others of doing fixing actually understand the meaning of fixing? The hidden incentive behind it? Who all do fixing?

Fixing(according to Encyclopedia)is to predetermine the outcome of an event. There can be many types of incentives to do fixing but they are divided broadly into two types i.e. Positive Incentive which gives reward in doing fixing and Negative Incentive which causes harm if one says no to fixing.Fixing is being done everywhere and by each of us. It can be in form of match fixing or when you get your work done by giving bribe or when you favour someone or by many other ways
I always wonder when i see somebody blaming others for doing fixing and want to ask him/her,"Haven't you ever done fixing?"

Understanding is oftenly misunderstood

There are many things in our life that we as human don't pay attention to.Few of us know the exact meaning of word "understand".And fewer of those know how it differs from knowledge.Take an instance when one reads a newspaper or an article in magazine,he\she reads and interprets it accordingly. The information gained from there sources can add to their knowledge but unless they correlate it with the real time events, the consequencies of that event, who is the looser ,who is the gainer, its impact on the future in long term they can't understand it properly.
