Understanding is oftenly misunderstood
There are many things in our life that we as human don't pay attention to.Few of us know the exact meaning of word "understand".And fewer of those know how it differs from knowledge.Take an instance when one reads a newspaper or an article in magazine,he\she reads and interprets it accordingly.The information gained from there sources can add to their knowledge but unless they correlate it with the real time events, the consequencies of that event,who is the looser ,who is the gainer,its impact on the future in long term they can't understand it properly.

ReplyDeleteWhile reading,we dont much concentrate upon gaining knowledge.we just try to understand it and forgets it in few mins.If we start looking upon its impacts then only the purpose of reading can be fulfilled.
Nice thought..But try to write long ones:)
How do you gain knowledge without understanding? While in school, unless your understood the concepts taught by the teacher, you did not become knowledgable about the subject. To gain knowledge you need to understand it properly. Once you understand something than you can use your prior knowledge to interpret it in a way to gain further knowledge.
