Plight of Muslims in India

I am here today not to write anything against Muslim community or any other community and I believe I don’t have any right to. I want to express my bitter feelings about the thinking of youth of our country

"Muslim is just like any another religion...................." This is what most of the people in India like to showcase but is it true to their heart? Well I don’t think so....

Continous assault by terrorists in India have affected the life of Muslim badly, especially the ferocious Mumbai attack just a few days back. Serious investigations by Indian government have revealed that those attackers are from Pakistan and this activity has been promoted from there only. A month has passed when this horrendous act happened and it has touched the hearts of all the people of our nation. But who are the most scared after this attack?

Hindus, Sikhs or Christians? No but the Muslims living in India, those innocent ones, who consider India as their mother land. I agree that Mumbai terror attack was laid by Muslims who came from Pakistan (acc to Govt. of India) but don't understand why our Muslim citizens are suffering because of the deeds of those Pakistani terrorists.

Muslims are already a minority in India, and Terrorism is doing more damage to India and Indian Muslims in particular. Whenever there is any war like situations with Pakistan due to terrorism, a parallel situation emerges inside India, between Hindus and Muslims. I don’t understand why?

I read about an incidence from somewhere recently which clearly indicates the plight of Muslims in our country. It says
"On December 1, a Class 9 Muslim student who wears a headscarf walked in late to class in a prominent central Delhi convent school. "You Pakistani," said the teacher.
"Excuse me, Ma'am, I am not a Pakistani," the stunned student replied.
The 14-year-old student, requesting anonymity, said she complained to the principal, who was sympathetic. "I was told the teacher would be spoken to," the student said.

Initially I thought it was only the older generation who considers Muslims and terrorist (from Pakistan) the same and the one who is responsible for all atrocities in our country. But what offended me is that even our younger generation; the Youth of our country considers the same. And I don’t have to go far to find an example.

Is it the urban India where open prejudices against Muslims are growing? Perhaps that's why Indian Muslims are more worried.
On this I want answer to just one question. Why Muslims are considered as refugee in their own Country, India?

Right to fair trial?

Mohammad Ajmal Amir Iman or Azam Amir Kasav,In the past one month this man has got more space in media than the new president of U.S. Who is he?what he did? and why is media creating so much of hype about it?

Nobody knows his real identity but he has given many names each from different sources. What we know is that he is the only one captured alive during Mumbai Terror Attack, which shocked India...

Hell lot of argumentation is going on these days whether he deserves Fair Trial or not. Indian public including our politicians which understandably, is in Bad mood, full of anger and sentimental with what happened in that massacre .So they are demanding for Capital punishment for him and don’t even want him to be entitled a lawyer. They even can’t stand the lawyer who is thinking to fight his case.

Though their behaviour is apprehensible and expected but we should not forget that we have democracy here in our country. But this incidence clearly shows how much people of India respects democracy. The constitution of our country has been framed to protect fundamental rights of any individual. Though initially Right to Fair Trial was not mentioned in fundamental rights of our constitution but in the 42 Amendment it has been added as one. Article 22 declares that no accused shall be denied the right to consult and be defended by a legal practitioner of choice.
So by denying this man right to frail trial aren't we moving away from democracy. It is well said that "The measure of a civilization is the way its society treats those it hates"

Media has created hype about what is going to happen but i have one concern what if India gives "Kasav" a chance of Fair Trial? It is well known that no lawyer can do much for a person responsible for mass killing and open display of the terror. The only option available is either capital punishment or life imprisonment.

Looking at the conditions of our Prisons(Jail), One set of thoughts want him to be given life imprisonment because only then he will realize the severity of crime he have commited. In there he will die each day and will pray to god for easy and sudden death.

And then there is another thought which originates from our bad experiences, that if he will be kept in jail, someday terrorist will hijack some god damn plane and force us to set him free, which we definitely don't want.
So if we are going to give him capital punishment by any chance then what is the use of all this drama? This is a big dilemma which i am not able to figure out yet...........

Critical Resource :-)

Today I am here to cite an unusual and somewhat humorous incident that happened with me. I guess most of my friends know that I got my Left hand “fractured” few months back and doctor suggested me rest for few days. So I took leave for about 6 weeks……

Finally, when I got bored staying at home for so long, I decided to resume office. Initially I felt that something fishy is going on in office on my back. As global economy was already going under recession, so was IT industry and news of Layoffs started coming up from different MNC .At this, I thought that one day it is going to happen with me also. Due to my so called attendance record, I would be the first one to be laid off from my team if my company decides to do so.

And in the mean time, there comes news that in my own firm, employees are asked to take forced earned leaves (trick used especially to improve the balance sheet of Company) .Now I start seeing stars in the daylight. To save my neck, I start to show some involvement in my work, to behave sincere and responsible. Oh my God!!! But it took only 2 weeks to got to know that it is too hard to be regular at work.. I felt that I m working like ass for centuries……………….

Soon after, on one good day, my manager called me up to his room. I was feeling that something bad is about to come. I cowered, hesitated but left with no choice but to face it. At last I gather up all my courage and went to his seat. Then we had some serious talk and when i came out of his room, me face is filled with a big smile, the smile of Victory.

Guess what? Showing sheer confidence in my capabilities, he said “Dude, you are one of the critical resources of our Team so I can’t let you go, hence this forced leaves concept is not applied to you……………..”

My face still glow up when I remember the words he utters. And now again I am planning for some unplanned leaves……………………………………………………..

THE LAGOON VS THE OCEAN

This story is from internet but i like it so have posted.......

One might have heared about the Great Barrier Reef, stretching some 1,800 miles from New Guinea to Australia. Tour guides regularly take visitors to view the reef.

On one tour, a traveler asked the guide an interesting question."I noticed that the lagoon side of the reef looks pale and lifeless, while the ocean side is vibrant and colorful," the traveler observed. "Why is this?"

The guide gave an interesting answer:"The coral around the lagoon side is in still water with no challenge for its survival. It dies early. The coral on the ocean side is constantly being tested by wind, waves, and storms -- surges of power. It has to fight for survival every day of its life.As it is challenged and tested, it changes and adapts. It grows healthy. It grows strong. And it reproduces."

Then he added this telling note: "That's the way it is with every living organism."!!

REFLECTION

That's how it is with people. Challenged and tested, we come alive! Like coral pounded by the sea, we grow. Physical demands can cause us to grow stronger. Mental and emotional stress can produce tough-mindedness and resiliency.Spiritual testing can produce strength of character and faithfulness .So, when you are tested again and again with problems - physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, just tell yourself, "There I grow again!".

Remember, A smooth sea never made a skilled mariner!!
Coming soon......

Either you die a hero....or u live long enough to see yourself turn into a Villain...

The above dialogue may be of more significance to those who have seen the movie “Dark Night" but it carries some meaning for others also. What Batman wants to convey is "Either He will Die fighting for LAW or one day he will break the Law himself to maintain law and become a criminal”. Think of how batman will look in a Villainous role? With his so much power no one will be able to stop him..........

It is truly said that movie dialogues depicts real life situations well. Let see how this particular one goes with it.
Take the case of Rahul Dravid (our former Captain). There was a time when public respects him as one of the Top batsman of India. But now he is considered as a burden on Team India. He should have retired at the right time gracefully. But he didn't and now he is facing severe criticism. So he was a Hero and now converted in Villain.

And what about our Dear "politicians"? I believe they are the ones to whom this dialogue befits the best. Though they have never been Heroes in my eyes. But people elect them in hope of their country being run well, and what politician do? They keep on sticking to their chair, like they are glued to it, until the condition goes worst. When things went out of control they just resign, which are of no use anymore. They could have been Heroic if they quit at right time and handed it over to a right person but they haven’t and now they have become Villains in the eyes of public.

At last I would like to say …..as about cricket we say "It is all about right timing”. It is same for the life as well.....................................
